| 8-inch f/7.6 Reflector used in the comet sketches. This telescope was made in John Dobson's telescope making class and donated to the sidewalk astronomers when its owner, Rob Faludi, ( whose name is on the gold plaque on the tube box) moved to NYC. Since then it has become Sidewalk Astronomers Loaner #1. Pictured here is the first "borrower" Anna, who has since gone on to make her own 12-inch. |
