Here I am sketching the sun through my homemade f/9 6-inch dobsonian solar telescope. This is the telescope I used for every drawing I made for the Astronomical League solar program. Also set up is my f/6.8 TV Ranger and Coronado SolarMax 60 H-alpha filter for a couple sketches of the solar disk in H-alpha.
