I took a break from the solar project from 11/12/02 to 11/20/02 to partipate in the NASA Multi-Instrument Aircraft Campaign.
Additional data required by A.L.P.O. The Carrington Rotation Number. Rotation #1996 commenced on NOvember 2, 2002.

11/05/02 - H-Alpha view of full solar disk at 23:45 UT.

11/08/02 - full solar disk at 19:30 UT. I was clouded out 11/6, 11/7, 11/9 and 11/10. Plus I ran out of solar disk templates and my printer was out of ink.

11/11/02 - AR0191 has rotated on to the eastern limb. I could even glimpse this throught the heavy cloud the previous two days, but it wasn't worth sketching. 22:40 UT

11/11/02 - AR0191, a EKC classified region was huge and I counted dozens of spots. 22:50 UT

11/21/02 - back from the Leonids, and back to the sun. AR0198 a huge FKC class spot at 23:00 UT
