Here is the third of three Mars sketches through the 102mm f/5 AP Traveler refractor using a 2.3mm Lanthanum eyepiece for a magnification of 265x.
Central meridian is 52 degrees longitude and the sketch was made at 09:00 UTC June 1, 2001. Seeing was better than the previous two nights of sketching, but I was too tired to stay up past 3:00 a.m. for a fourth night in a row for more sketching. The more I sketch Mars, the more I appreciate its wonder.
