Here is the second sketch of three Mars sketches through the AP Traveler refractor using a 2.3mm Lanthanum eyepiece for a magnification of 265x.
Central meridian is 76 degrees longitude and the sketch was made at 09:00 UTC May 30,2001. Seeing was exceptionally good for the second night in a row. This sketch was made after moonset over the hills to the west. South Polar Cap was brilliant. Solis Lacus was dark and prominent, and Arcadia was light and prominent.
