AP180EDT f/9 refractor at 480X using paired 10 Zeiss Abbe Orthos in Zeiss binoviewer with barlow and barcon for 3X magnification.
Seeing excellent on the front driveway, San Rafael, CA 37N 122W. Transparency was good!
Shadow of planet globe visble on rings. A ring shows Encke division. Cassini Division visible. B ring white, A ring light gray, C ring dark gray, with globe showing through Crepe ring. Globe in shades of brown to beige. Faint eq band (didn't see at lower power the previous night), South Polar Cap visible (barely), Interesting mottled edge of South Equatorial Belt, but I don't think it was ovals or anything, unlike previous sketch from 10/1 sketch night. Ring tilt 26 degrees, 7 moons visible, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Mimas, Enceladas, Titan and Hyperion.
